International food

If you are missing the food from home, we can suggest you some shops in Kiel, where you can find your national ingredients.

- Asian Food:

​

        1. "Asia Shop” in the shopping centre Sophienhof (it’s a bit small)

        2. “Asia Markt Mabuhay” at Knooper Weg 42 (more East & South East Asia)

        3. “Asia Laden” at Fleethörn 23 – close to the town hall (also products from South & Central Asia; is quite big and probably most

            diverse one).

 

- Middle eastern food you can usually find at Turkish supermarkets e.g.:

        1. Sultan Markt at Eckernförder Str. 85 (also sells Halal food)

        2. Food Plaza at Sophienblatt 48 B (also sells Halal food)

 

- African food

       There is one shop at Brunswiker Str. 5

 

At Exerzierplatz there is a weekly market (German: Wochenmarkt) every Wednesday and Saturday from 8:00 - 13:00, where vegetables, meat, fish, dairy products, etc. from the region are sold.
